Summer Concert Series

Lincoln Arts hosts a wonderful concert series. Each week during the summer months you can enjoy a new concert offering all kinds of different music to enjoy in Beerman Plaza

The Summer Concert Series Brings music and dance to Beermann Plaza. Offering: Country and Bluegrass music, danceable fifties and sixties rock music, toe-tapping blues, and a spectacular cultural performance featuring the colorful Mor Taiko Japanese Drummers. Previous concert series events have included: sweet Celtic sounds; DJs; a Mexican fiesta with singers, dancers and rope tricks; various choirs, and a grand Fourth of July event featuring the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, and many more exciting shows.

John Skinner's Fabulous Band are scheduled to perform a free concert in Beermann Plaza on September 22nd as part of the 2007 Summer Concert Series sponsored by Lincoln Arts.

John Skinner Band brings the vitality of live music to any event in Northern California. John Skinner's party bands have graced area's most prestigious events for over 20 years. From California Governors' bashes, to corporate celebrations, to wedding anniversaries and over 3000 wedding receptions, there music has filled dance floors and kept tens of thousands of toes tapping.

John Skinner's variety is the secret of their success. There are not grandpa's dance bands. Their repertoire of 1000 tunes encompasses the top hits of the last 50 years ranging from Big Band Swing to party Rock & Roll.
