About
Lincoln Arts
Lincoln
Arts,
a
not-for-profit public arts organization was founded in October,
1986, to support and promote the arts, culture and history in
the greater Lincoln area. Unlike many arts organizations, Lincoln
Arts receives no guaranteed government funding, and is funded
almost entirely through the contributions of its members and community
donations.
In
addition to the unusual FEATS
OF CLAY national ceramics competition and exhibition,
Lincoln Arts sponsors:
- A
summer series of free Concerts-in-the-Plaza
- Lincoln
Clayfest - a one-day celebration of the clay arts
- Continuous
gallery exhibits featuring local and regional
artists' works
- Holiday
Shop
- Arts

- Community
groups including the Lincoln "Philharmonic" Chorus
and Lincoln Players
